A Quick Vegan Dinner with Chimax Chili Sauce


Looking for a quick, flavorful plant-based dinner? This sweet and spicy tofu stir-fry is made with Chimax Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce, delivering the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Serve it with rice or noodles for a satisfying, Asian-inspired meal in just 20 minutes.


Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 250 g firm tofu

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tbsp neutral oil (e.g., sunflower or canola)

  • 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • A handful of broccoli florets

  • 3–4 tbsp Chimax Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce

  • Optional: a few drops of Chimax Chili Oil for extra heat


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the tofu: Cut tofu into 1.5 cm cubes. Toss with soy sauce and coat evenly with cornstarch.

  2. Crisp the tofu: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the tofu until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. Stir-fry the veggies: In the same pan, stir-fry the carrot, then add bell pepper and broccoli. Cook for 3–4 minutes until just tender.

  4. Combine: Return tofu to the pan and pour in Chimax Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce. Mix well and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

  5. Serve: Serve hot over jasmine rice or noodles. For extra spice, drizzle with Chimax Chili Oil or add a side of Chimax Sriracha Sauce.
