Crispy Thai chicken with sweet and sour chili sauce from Chimax

If you love Thai cuisine, you'll love this recipe! Crispy chicken, fresh vegetables, and Chimax sweet and sour chili sauce create a perfect harmony. This dish is incredibly easy to prepare yet offers a unique and exciting taste experience!


Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (striped)

  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • Oil for frying


For the sauce:

  • 4 tbsp sweet and sour chili sauce from Chimax

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

  • 1 garlic clove (chopped)

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp honey


To serve:

  • Steamed jasmine rice

  • Chopped spring onions

  • Roasted sesame seeds


Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with cornstarch, egg, salt and pepper and let rest for 10 minutes.

  2. Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown, then place it on a paper towel.

  3. In a pan, combine Chimax sweet and sour chili sauce with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and honey. Heat until slightly thickened.

  4. Turn the crispy chicken over so that it is covered with the sauce on all sides.

  5. Serve with steamed jasmine rice sprinkled with spring onions and sesame seeds.
